INDULGE IN HEALTH FOOD
It’s easy to sit at your desk and snack on Cheetos, trust us, we know, but if you swap those out for something like almonds or fresh fruit, your skin will be grateful. View your eating the same way you do art – it’s always better with more color! So be sure to fill up your plate with fruits, fresh vegetables, and green leafy greens. Also indulge in veggie juices as they’re bound to boost your antioxidant and nutrient levels. Another bonus of a multi-colored diet, is it will slow down the ageing of your skin and boost energy levels!
RESPECT H2O
Our body is made up of around 70% water so it makes sense that if we’re dehydrated, our fine lines will look more pronounced – who wants that? It’s easy; just keep a bottle of water with you at ALL times! Sip throughout the day to wash away the toxins and unwanted debris topically on your skin, as well as internally. Opt for room temperature water as this can starve off those dreaded 2 pm cravings.
GO #NAKEDFACE
We know going barefaced is not exactly a dream of yours, but doing so will help your skin breath. You could unknowingly be using products that have chemicals that can clog your pores. Take a day or two a week while running errands, etc. to let your skin inhale and renew itself.
YOUR PILLOW IS YOUR BUDDY
Befriending your pillow would be one of the best ideas for you this year. Do not take your hours of shut-eye for granted, because when we’re asleep our skin gets time to repair itself.
